Quality & Safety Is Our Priority

At North West Heating Solutions we understand that quality and safety standards are very important to customers especially in your home. You can rest assured our ELKAtherm electric heating systems are designed and tested to ensure the highest quality is achieved. Our blog outlines the key safety features of our electric radiators.

Single Segment Shut-down

ELKAtherm electric heating systems offer reliable overheating protection in the event that you forget the heater should not be covered. If part of the heater is covered and causing a risk of overheating the radiator automatically shuts off the section that is covered. The uncovered part of the radiator continues to give out heat.

This feature gives you peace of mind that if the heater was covered accidentally the product would protect itself and your home.

Thermostat Controlled

The dangers of cheap electrical portable heaters are well documented as well as high running costs they can also be a fire hazard from overheating or being knocked over. They are just not designed to be a permanent heating solution

Each individual ELKAtherm radiator is different it has its own individual thermostat to regulate the temperature of the room so you can set and forget. Elkatherm heaters don’t have open elements and can be fixed to your wall. The thermostat will ensure the radiator switches itself off when the desired temperature is reached the stored heat in its core helps to maintain this temperature.
